For two years, Sunset Canyon’s energy company was charging the property with sales tax. We looked at all their past statements and calculated the amount the community was overcharged and immediately put in a credit request for the amount of the sales tax overcharge. We were able to successfully recover over $2,000 for Sunset Canyon.
